Bringing audio together with images results in a photofilm: a slideshow of beautiful pictures, stitched to professional-quality radio – a bit like a visual podcast. They're perfect for use on websites, social media and in online marketing. Pocket has worked with clients big and small to create photofilms that tell stories, celebrate achievements or simply document events: there's a photofilm for every type of occasion.
Why choose a photofilm?
they're intimate, but they pack a punch
they're the best of both worlds: first-rate audio and compelling images
they can bend and flex to fit any story, big or small
they're a stylish alternative to traditional web video
they're surprisingly cost-effective
A selection of work can be seen in the films below, which provide a flavour of this unique, stylish and creative approach to digital storytelling.
Created to showcase the work of charity Love The One, this photofilm uses original images shot by Paul Jay and audio captured on location in Orissa, India by Catherine.
Love the One exists to stand alongside poor, abused, orphaned, exploited and marginalised children in developing countries. The charity's main focus of work is in India, where Catherine and Paul travelled to capture these deeply affecting stories.
“Thank you, Pocket Productions, for totally capturing the essence of the work we do in India! It helps us to give a voice to the children and families we work with, and to communicate that thoughtfully and sensitively to our supporters.”

“Pocket did a fantastic job: the photofilm was brilliantly edited. My husband, not a notable Woman’s Hour listener, remarked on the humour of it!”
Georgina's photofilm captures the raw emotion of a really difficult couple of years, which were made easier to bear by Cambridge Bootcamps.
